I could barely handle hsaring a room with a zit-faced, hormonally challenged 18 year-old girl when I was 18. A boy?? No Way.
We had mixed-gender floors (like a boy across the hall form a girl) and I thought that was even too much at times. And I lived in a dorm that was mixed by floor… like boys on 1, girls on 2, etc. Even then… Man! Who in their right mind would allow their 18 year old daughter to share a room/suite with an 18 year old boy… or worse, a 21 year old boy… You know they aren't above mixing ages if they are mixing genders!!
