Suicide threat causes second lock down at Brookhaven College (High Quality)

Brookhaven College Police alerted staff and students of a lockdown at approximately 12:03 p.m. Oct. 4. Monica Taliaferro, marketing and public information director, said Dallas Police notified Brookhaven Police a student was threatening suicide on campus.

This lockdown was the second in five days for the college; Sept. 30 the campus was secured because two suspects of a nearby armed robbery fled toward the college’s baseball field.

According to a bulletin from Dallas County Community College District Chancellor Dr. Wright Lassiter, campus police searched all buildings but did not find the student and the lockdown ended at 12:55 p.m.
